More About Wendy..
Wendy had a number of different roles before starting with Toll Marine in Darwin in the crewing and HR department, where her primary roles were crew recruitment and management and ensuring that the conditions of the relevant EBA’s and industrial agreements were met.
Wendy’s next role with Toll Marine was the Quality and Safety Manager, where she implemented a broad reaching ISM system which was audited both internally and externally and was fully compliant. Wendy was also instrumental in introducing and managing crew fatigue management and compliance with all the relevant legislation, both Australian and internationally depending on the flag of the vessel.
After the internal merger, Wendy’s next role was as Operations Superintendent for the Western Australian based fleet, serving the oil and gas market. This involved vessel husbandry, arranging port calls, quarantine clearances, customs etc. Basically a full suite of vessel services for a small but complex fleet.
